The inspiration for this book has been my grandson Dan! Nat Jones is a cheeky schoolboy of eleven who is bullied at school. But he has a hidden talent. He is an undiscovered genius in computer hacking! Undiscovered, that is, until he takes down the schools firewall and accesses confidential data. His family struggle to make ends meet and Nat tries to dream up ways to make some pocket money. He applies to join the secret service as a computer hacker however, without thinking his actions through properly, he starts a sequence of events that end up involving the mafia. He has the makings of an entrepreneur and becomes the young business partner of Mr Singh, a local shopkeeper. Mr Singh and Nat soon become good friends. But little did Mr Singh guess then how his life would become so entwined with Nats – or how he would become so involved in his adventures. Inevitably Nats activities flag up at MI5 headquarters and because of a possible threat to their national security, eventually the CIA become involved. Nat is hauled in and dumbfounds a team of experts with his knowledge on the computer. But from a distance others are watching him as well! If he is a genius, then there is money to be made. Lots of it! Too late Nat ends up being kidnapped – and no-one knows who by! The adventure is beginning!
